Aldebaran MG/MG7

New Aldebaran Baitcast Magnesium reel was evolved from the outgoing Scorpion Mg series.The design concept was to have a compact featherweight reel & the Aldebaran achieved that objective with an incredible 155gram weight! Spool diameter was also reduced to 32mm, lightest & smallest of the  Shimano Low Profile Baitcasting Reels so that frame design could be as low profile as possible & longer free spins could be achieved with its lightweight Magnesium spool.

Antares DC

The introduction of the long awaited Antares DC and DC7 reel; bringing low profile reel technology to the next level. The DC/DC7 gives the angler unmatched casting distance and problem free casting everytime. Core

The new CORE reels are designed to be ultimate, light-weight baitcasting reels. Made with magnesium frames and sideplates, and featuring Magnumlite spool construction, the standard version for all around fishing, weighs in at 6.1 ounces with a 6.2:1 gear ratio. The FV flipping version, equipped with Instagage II, comes with oversized PV paddles and a 7.0:1 gear ratio to move fish out of cover fast. These reels both come with HEG, feature Shielded A-RB bearings and are designed to be as compact as possible for a comfortable, lightweight and maneuverable fishing experience.

Curado E

Curado has always been one of the most popular Shimano Low Profile Baitcasting Reels since it was 1st introduced in 1991. The new Curado”E” is completely redesigned bearing a darker shade of green than the current Curado D and a major upgrade in features. The 1st thing to notice is that reels are much smaller & lighter than the previous model. The 200 size body is sculpted as a 100 size however with a spoolcapacity of a 200; easy to palm in the hand. Scorpion XT

Speedmaster 200/ 201

Metanium XT

Metanium XT, the name says it all. It is little wonder why this reel has a cult following amongst the baitcasting fraternity. This reel is simply efficient to the point of being clinical. It boasts of a 1 piece frame, 6/1A-RB, an aluminium die-cast side plate and shimano’s Proprietary Variable Brake System. The spool’s edge has also been reduced to 0.4mm to minimize inertia during free spool so that you can cast the lightest of lures; while a Silicon Carbide line guide ensures that your line flows through with minimum friction when you execute your pin point cast to fish.

Metanium MG DC/DC7

The Metanium MG has just gotten a digital control upgrade! With the DC control now available on the Metanium series, it is now the lightest reel in its class to have the digital control function for “trouble free” casting. Weighing in at just 195grams, it comes with a high speed 6.2:1 ratio for the standard model and 7.0:1 for the high speed model. Ideal for casting ultralight to heavy weight lures.
